West Ham United vs Tottenham Hotspur LIVE: Premier League result, final score and reaction

Follow live coverage as West Ham United face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League today.
Manchester City are reigning champions after beating Liverpool to the finish line in a neck-and-neck 2021/22 title race where a comeback win on the final day of the season against Aston Villa secured a fourth title in five years for Pep Guardiola's side.
Jurgen Klopp's Reds were on course for a quadruple last season but were forced to settle for just an FA Cup and Carabao Cup win and will return trying to win the title again just as they did in 2020.
It was a dramatic season for Chelsea a year ago with Roman Abramovich now replaced by Todd Boehly as owner in west London. He will want an instant return on his hefty investment at Stamford Bridge while Tottenham, back in the Champions League, will want to kick on once more too.
It's not all about the action at the top though with Fulham, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest promoted to the top tier for 2021/22 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.
We will bring you all the action and updates from today's game in the live blog below:

That's all from us, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until the next one, goodbye!
West Ham United vs Tottenham Hotspur
West Ham's climb away from the bottom end of the table continues, with David Moyes' men now 14th with four points. On another day, they could've well won this game, which will give the manager encouragement after their slow start. Spurs miss the chance to go top, but wouldn't have anyway thanks to wins for Arsenal and Manchester City, and so Conte's side remain third, one of four sides still unbeaten and fighting firmly to be a contender at the top of the tree.

Soucek smashed home West Ham's equaliser, and was a threat from midfield throughout the game. He had three total shots in the box, amassing an xG of 0.61, and had six touches in Spurs' area. He won seven of his nine duels, including two in the air, and won all four tackles he attempted, as well as making two interceptions and clearances apiece. Hammer.

There goes the whistle, bringing an action-packed game to an end. That second half was frenetic at times, with West Ham's much-deserved equaliser leading to a flurry of chances at both ends! As the game neared its end, the discipline started to slip with bookings aplenty for both sides, and even then West Ham had a glorious chance to win it right at the death. All in all, a fair result to a fantastic game, with both sides showing the depth of attacking quality they possess.

CHANCE!!! How have they not scored there!! A long throw into the Spurs box sees Paqueta tee up Emerson to cross. It's cleared, but Ogbonna's attempted follow-up shot is deflected back in towards Bowen, whose ball across the face of goal is too far in front of Antonio! A touch there, and West Ham win the game, but they couldn't make the chance count!
