Liverpool were winners back in 2020 ending a 30-year wait for league glory and Jurgen Klopp is sure to have them back challenging again at the sharp end this season too while Manchester United will be looking to be back in the title picture with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to his former club in the summer.
It's not all about the action at the top though with Norwich, Watford and Brentford promoted to the top tier for 2020/21 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

West Ham have ended their three-game losing run in all competitions, and move to fifth with that win, though Arsenal are due to kick off shortly. They have a big Europa League second-leg tie with Sevilla up next. Villa's winning run is also over, but they stay in ninth. They host Arsenal next time out.

West Ham hold on to beat Aston Villa 2-1. It was a first half of very few chances, but the game greatly improved in the second half. Yarmolenko came off the bench and scored a superb opening goal, curling it in with the outside of his boot. Fornals then doubled the lead in the 82nd minute after a lightning-quick counter-attack by the Hammers. Ramsey rifled in from long range in the 90th minute just after Fabianski made a big save to deny Buendia.
