The Hammers picked up their third win of the campaign by beating United 2-1, with all the goals coming late on. Crysencio Summerville slid in the opener at the far post for the hosts, before Casemiro looked to have won a point for United when he headed in from close range at the other end. But Matthijs de Ligt was then adjudged to have fouled Danny Ings in the box in stoppage time and Jarrod Bowen buried the resulting penalty to give the Hammers victory late on.

We wanted goals and drama after the first half, and we certainly got them in an astonishing second period which ends with West Ham beating Manchester United 2-1 in unbelievable circumstances!! After somehow keeping the visitors at bay in the opening 45 minutes, West Ham improved massively in the second half , and one of Julen Lopetegui's three substitutes, Crysencio Summerville, pounced at the far post to open the scoring and spark pandemonium at the London Stadium! That lead lasted just seven minutes though as a succession of headers ended with Casemiro equalising for the Red Devils, but there was still plenty of race left to run. A collision in the box between Danny Ings and Matthijs de Ligt drew the eye of VAR, and after several minutes of deliberation, the penalty was given and scored by Jarrod Bowen to make it 2-1 to the Hammers, flipping the xG figures to 2.98 (to 2.12) in their favour and seeing out 14 minutes of injury time to seal the points! The Irons leapfrog the visitors to 13th in the table, and what a win that could prove to be for Lopetegui and Erik ten Hag's futures!

WIDE!!! With no way through West Ham's box, Fernandes is teed up on the edge of it and goes for goal. He's looking for the far corner, but his strike swerves away from goal rather than towards it and the home crowd jeers as it sways wide!!!

Manchester United try passes, chips, crosses and headers aplenty into the West Ham box but just can't find a way through, and Garnacho's latest ball in towards Hojlund ricochets back into the gloves of Fabianski, much to the hosts' relief!

SAVED!!! Onana prevents the hosts from making it 3-1!!! West Ham break as Summerville and Emerson combine down the left, before the left-back charges into the area and smashes a near-post shot towards goal which is parried clear by the goalkeeper!

Fernandes' cross towards the far post is hooked back into the middle by Dalot, but Fabianski rises to claim the ball with ease and will be in no hurry to throw this one out.
