At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Arsenal meanwhile continue to scrap with their limited transfer budget and are turning their interest to Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, but face competition from United and Paris Saint-Germain.
Neymar and Antoine Griezmann are currently out of favour at their clubs and both are likely to face disciplinary action after failing to turn up on the first day of training at PSG and Atletico Madrid respectively.

Manchester City winger Leroy Sane is expected to decide his future in the next week, says Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
“He’s coming back from holiday this week, and didn’t want to discuss anything while he was away," Rummenigge said of the 23-year-old, who is the German champions' number one summer transfer target.
"He wanted to think about his future. Now we have to be calm and wait."
Everton could face competition from Arsenal in their pursuit of Barcelona forward Malcom, RMC Sport have reported.
The Brazilian was a Toffees' target in January, but chose to stay at the Nou Camp and fight for a place in Ernesto Valverde's side.
He ultimately earned just six La Liga starts last season though, and Everton have renewed their interest in the 22-year-old, with Arsenal also monitoring the forward.
David Neres has said that he is staying at Ajax, despite interest from Premier League sides Manchester United and Everton.
Neres, 22, was a vital part of Ajax's team last season as the Dutch side secured the Eredivisie title and reached the Champions League semi-finals.
The Brazil international says he sees his future in the Dutch capital: "I have to be back at Ajax on July 28. My future is with Ajax," Neres said after his nation lifted the Copa America trophy on Sunday.
Manchester United have approached Southampton about the possibility of signing midfielder Mario Lemina, according to Sky Sports.
The Saints have given the Gabon international permission to speak to other clubs, and did not take the 25-year-old on the team's pre-season training camp in Austria.
Paul Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, has said that he is working with the Manchester United midfielder to find a "solution" regarding the Frenchman's future.
Speaking to talkSport on Tuesday, Raiola said: “Hopefully there will soon be a satisfying solution for all parties. The player has done nothing wrong. He has been respectful and professional in every way and always. The club has known his feeling for a long time.
The agent continued: "It is a shame other people only like to criticise without the right information, and I am also sorry that the club does not take any position against this."
West Ham must act today if they are to secure Maxi Gomez from Celta Vigo, according to The Daily Mail.
The La Liga side have reportedly issued the Hammers an ultimatum to reach an agreement for the striker before Wednesday, or Gomez will join fellow suitors Valencia.
The 22-year-old has a £45m release clause, which West Ham must trigger to prevent Gomez from moving to Valencia in a £13m plus player deal.
It's been rumoured that Ousmane Dembele is on his way out of the Nou Camp, but the Barcelona forward started pre-season training today, a week before his team-mates.
The World Cup winner, 22, is determined to display his commitment to the La Liga champions, Cadena SER have reported.
Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu claimed earlier this year that the young Frenchman is better than Neymar, and Dembele's eagerness to start training contrasts starkly with Neymar's absence for PSG this week.
Muric completes loan move to Forrest
Manchester City and Carabao Cup legend goalkeeper Arjianet Muric is hoping his season-long loan move to Nottingham Forest can help him reach his potential.
Kosovo international Muric, 20, who made five Carabao Cup appearances for City last season, is Forest's fifth summer signing.
Muric joined Forest after signing a three-year contract extension with City and is looking forward to the responsibility of playing in the first team.
He said: “going on loan to Nottingham Forest will give me the opportunity to gain more first-team experience and I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
Liverpool sign Bailey
Liverpool FC Women have completed the signing of Jade Bailey from Chelsea.
The midfielder, 23, started her career at Arsenal, where she broke into the team in 2013 and won two FA Cups and two Continental Cups.
Bailey said: "It's such a great club and to be a part of that is just amazing. I want to be the best and I know there's still loads more to come.
"I have a belief in myself and know where I want to get to.
"There's a lot more to come from this team and it's nice to be a part of that and hopefully contribute to the success of the club."
The Liverpool women's team will join the men's side on their pre-season tour of the USA, a club first.
Manchester City women have also been busy in the transfer market today and confirmed the signing of Aoife Mannion on a two-year deal from Birmingham City.
The 23-year-old is a highly rated youngster and was named in the 2019 PFA WSL team of the year.
“I’m so happy to be here, so happy to have signed and I can’t wait to get started” the defender told CityTV.
“The appeal of the club speaks for itself with the league titles and trophies the Club has won.
“The accolades are there and I just want to try and play a part in ensuring that continues to happen.
“When I spoke with Nick (Cushing) about making the move, we just seemed to be on the same wavelength and wanted the same things.
“We want to keep being successful and have a real pop at Europe which is the one trophy to have eluded us so far.”
Mannion will now get a greater taste of European football as City target Champions League success.
“I’m so excited about playing in the Champions League,” Mannion added.
“I’ve only played in it once for Birmingham and that was six years ago and it wasn’t until the experience had gone by that you really appreciated it."
