At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Your support makes all the difference. It is bitterly cold out there today which can mean only one thing - the winter transfer window is now just around the corner.
It was a record-breaking summer with Neymar smashing the £200m mark when he swapped Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain. But with more money than ever in the game January could be a monster with speculation about the futures of Philippe Coutinho, Alexis Sanchez and more refusing to go away.
Manchester City were the summer's biggest spenders splashing the cash on new arrivals like it was going out of fashion but Pep Guardiola isn't likely to stop there with a title there for the taking. United were busy too and as they bid to chase down their crosstown rivals will want more despite adding Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof in the summer with Jose Mourinho understood to be keen on an attacking wide player and a new full back.
Liverpool struggled somewhat to get deals over the line and could still lose Coutinho while Chelsea are still in need of bodies as Antonio Conte continues to battle with a hectic fixture list.
We will have all the latest news on all of them and more for you right here so don't touch that dial.

Newcastle target Kiko Casilla could be leaving Real Madrid in January.
Reports in Spain suggest the goalkeeper has been deemed surplus to requirements, with clubs made aware of his availability next month.
Newcastle are said to be on high alert and are keen on signing the 31-year-old.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed Arsenal are continuing to try and tie Mesut Ozil down to a new contract with Manchester United waiting in the wings.
The 28-year-old's current deal runs out at the end of the season and he is yet to show any real willingness to remain at the Emirates beyond this campaign.
United want to sign him on a free transfer next summer and manager Jose Mourinho recently refused to rule out such a possibility ahead of their meeting a fortnight ago.
Wenger has spoken about the future of one of his star men this morning
Jose Mourinho has privately expressed his frustrations that in the modern Manchester rivalry, he has to compete with the financial resources bestowed by a state.
Manchester City have spent so much on players over the years, he says, that as United manager there is only so much he can do to match them.
And yet if the two managers were in charge of each other’s teams on Sunday afternoon, or even for the whole Premier League season, can anyone dispute who would have come out on top?
Here we take a closer look:
Alvaro Morata is set to miss Chelsea's trip to Huddersfield with a back problem.
Antonio Conte is poised to rotate his options as he seeks an immediate response to the loss at West Ham, but Morata is not available.
The Spaniard, who has scored 10 goals since his summer move from Real Madrid, played the full 90 minutes on Saturday but has remained behind for the trip to the John Smith's Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Alan Pardew admitted that he fears West Bromwich Albion will lose captain Jonny Evans in January, with Manchester City considering returning for the Northern Ireland international.
West Brom turned down offers of £18m and £23m from City for their skipper in the summer, with Albion holding out for £30m.
Arsenal and Leicester were also interested in the veteran central defender, and with City now likely to come back with a bid it appears West Brom are resigned to losing the 29 year-old.
Sean Dyche has refused to guarantee that Burnley's star players will remain at Turf Moor.
"We've had interest in our players ever year, from Charlie Austin all the way through, so were used to it," he said. "We're happy with the contract situation with our players and that's all you can do nowadays.
"It's a market and, when you think of some of the numbers this summer, there is no ceiling. So it's not realistic for me to sit here and say none of our players are going anywhere.
"Some teams can do that but we can't. But, as I said, the players are under contract, so we know where we are as a business. The fact they're getting looked at - if they are - is a sign of our success.
"That's part of what's been going on for the five seasons I've been here. We're not under pressure to make sales but the market is what it is."
Troy Deeney is in no rush to leave Watford in January despite reported interest from Everton.
"I am happy with life now," he said. "I am happy coming into work. I have never wanted to move. It is about money at the end of the day with kids and a family to support, but it's never about how much money I could earn.
"I am happy with what I've got, I am content, so if I don't earn more money than this I am still happy. I am a lot better off than when I started 10 years ago."
Eddie Howe has hinted striker Lewis Grabban could be sold in January
"With Lewis, we will make the right decision for him and for us," Howe said. "I think it will be something we will sit down and talk about.
"We have got some excellent strikers here. I have got some real options in that position, especially when you consider you have got the quality of Lys Mousset who is out of the squad at the moment.
"That is something for a later date when we will have a chat with Grabbs."
Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson believes Louis Moult's future remains up for grabs - but he has accepted the striker will not be at Fir Park next season.
Preston are believed to have moved close to securing Moult with some reports claiming the Premiership top goalscorer has signed a pre-contract to join the Championship club in the summer.
But Robinson claims Moult could still be sold in January.
Robinson said: "I don't know anything about pre-contracts, I'm not sure they are worth the paper they are written on anyway. Obviously there is a lot of interest in Louis and we have spoken to clubs about Louis. They have contacted us and had the respect to contact us. So that's currently ongoing.
"There's not been a done deal. There are certain clubs who have had the courtesy to speak to us, because we all know they are meant to do that but it isn't always the case. Louis is well within his rights to speak to people."
Bayern Munich plan to hold “serious talks” with the representatives of veteran wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery before the end of the season, according to chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Both men will be out of contract in the summer and Robben, who turns 34 next month, has suggested that retirement is an option for him.
However Ribery, who is 34 himself, has expressed a desire to play for a further three years and retire at the Allianz Arena.
“Franck and Arjen both have a big history here and we know what we have with them. Both are very important for us,” Rummenigge told TZ.
“But it is important how they will continue. We definitely won't decide that in near future but there will be serious talks. Let's say in early spring.”
