The likes of Kylian Mbappe, Alvaro Morata, Andrea Belotti, Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez have all been linked with moves in what promises to be another summer of bumper signings.
Still, a number of clubs have set about their business early. Manchester City are the summer’s early pace setters, having already signed both Bernardo Silva and Ederson, while Mohamed Salah recently joined Liverpool in a £34.3m move from Roma.
Everton are the other big spenders so far in the window, signing Jordan Pickford from Sunderland for £30m and Ajax’s Davy Klaassen for £23.6m.

Toffees swoop for Onyekuru
Everton have beaten Arsenal to the signature of KAS Eupen striker Henry Onyekuru, the joint-leading scorer in Belgian's top flight last season.
As part of the deal, Onyekuru will return to Belgium and spend the forthcoming campaign on loan at Anderlecht.
The 20-year-old scored 24 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions last season.
Onyekuru's arrival follows the signings of Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen for a combined total of £55m, with Malaga forward Sandro Ramirez also expected to complete a move to Goodison Park.
Morata 'cuts honeymoon short'
Alvaro Morata's not waiting around.
That's according to AS at least, who claim that the Real Madrid striker has cut his honeymoon in Ibiza short and returned to the Spanish capital in order to hasten a switch to Manchester United.
As per The Independent's Miguel Delaney, Madrid are still demanding £78m for Morata's services, with the 22-year-old keen to reunite with Jose Mourinho, who gave him his competitive debut in 2010.
AS report that Morata "does not want the transfer to become a soap opera" though Madrid themselves are in no rush, with the Super Cup clash against United on 8 August in mind.
Morata recently married Alice Campello, who followed and then unfollowed United on Instagram today.
