However, there was movement out of the club as winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou joined Monaco on loan until the end of the season.
Out-of-favour striker Vincent Janssen, who has not made an appearance since 2017, saw potential moves to Real Betis and Schalke break down and will stay at the club.

There is a reason most of the players linked with Spurs today have been English. Tottenham have issues - both in the Premier League and Champions League - with squad registration and the number of homegrown players available.
It has made signing foreign players even more difficult for Pochettino, and perhaps goes some way to explaining the inactivity of recent transfer windows.
↵Tottenham had been linked with a move for Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans, but it appears he is on the verge of joining Leicester.
Nkoudou is already hard at work having joined Monaco.
In case your French isn't up to scratch, here's what he says of the move: "I missed you Ligue 1. Very happy to join Monaco for the second part of the season, hoping to be able to help the club in its goals."
No deal
Talks between Tottenham and Schalke have broken down over a potential loan deal for Vincent Janssen. The Dutchman was expected to join the German club having seen a previous proposed move to Real Betis fall through.
But an agreement, according to Football.London, couldn't be reached before the Bundesliga transfer window closed at 5pm. Spurs now have just over five hours to find a club willing to take Janssen off their wage bill.
There may yet be a surprise transfer in Tottenham. Michy Batshuayi, who Spurs had previously expressed an interest in, would prefer to join the North London club, according to Valencia source Plaza Deportivo.
The Belgian is still at Valencia on loan, but the Spanish club want to send him back to Chelsea. Any deal would be dependent on an agreement between Spurs and Chelsea. Batshuayi, though, is reportedly hopeful of forcing through a move tonight.
N'Koudou has spoken for the first time since signing for Monaco:
I am very happy to return to Ligue 1 and to get involved with AS Monaco. I look forward to meeting my teammates and giving everything on the field with this red and white jersey.
