Pedro Porro scored a stunning goal to secure Tottenham’s place in the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 1-0 win over Burnley on Friday night.

Tottenham have endured a trophy drought for the last 16 years but will be hoping for a good cup run, with the FA Cup offering their best chance at ending that run this season.

Spurs went into the game in good form, but it looked as though Burnley might have done enough to secure a replay before Porro pounced on a poor attempt to play the ball out from the back, drove forward and fired the ball inot the back of the net.

Despite some late chances, Burnley were unable to claw their way back into the match and force a replay and were knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round.
