Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. After Tottenham's chances of catching Chelsea were landed a serious blow at Anfield, Antonio Conte's men now have the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table as they travel to Burnley.
But victory is far from a given. Sean Dyche's men have developed an impervious reputation at home, winning 28 out of their current 29 Premier League points at Turf Moor.
Although Chelsea will be tipped as favourites to win, a shock result against the Clarets isn't beyond the realms of possibility today.
After that, Swansea and Leicester go head to head at the bottom of the league as they continue to fight for survival.
The Foxes have been dragged to the foot of the table following a miserable run of form that has seen them failure to win in league this new year.
As for the Swans, Paul Clement's men have enjoyed something of a resurgence in recent weeks but remain dangerously close to the relegation zone with just one point separating them from the bottom three.

Burnley enter this clash with third best home record in the Premier League, so today could be the day that the title favourites get stopped in their tracks. The Clarets have won every game on home turf since the end of November, so could today be the eighth consecutive victory for Dyche's men?
We'll see.
Stay tuned for minute-by-minute coverage of all of the action.
The scene is set. If the title toppers can beat formidable Burnley on home turf, this would be a huge statement to the rest of the league challengers. Burnley sit at 13th in the League table, but if they are underestimated today then Conte's men will pay the ultimate price.
The players are lining up in the Turf Moor tunnel. Chelsea look to go 12 points clear at the top, whereas Burnley look to make it their sixth consecutive league victory.
Just minutes until kick-off now.

Costa threads a beautifully weighted pass through to Hazard, who bursts through The Clarets defence. He finds himself in front of goal, but the Belgian's attempt is easily collected by Heaton - he should have done more damage there.
