Callum Wilson's equaliser cancelled out Bernardo Silva's opener, but second-half goals from Raheem Sterling and Ilkay Gundogan secured victory for Pep Guardiola's side as they stretch their lead to five points at the top of the table.
West Ham recorded an emphatic victory at Newcastle as a Javier Hernandez double, plus a third from Felipe Anderson, secured a convincing 3-0 win, while Leicester got the better of Watford with Jamie Vary and James Maddison securing the three points.
Huddersfield saw Mathias Jorgensen's early goal go to waste as Steve Mounier saw red in the first half before Brighton overturned the score thanks to goals from Shane Duffy and Florin Andone, while Crystal Palace beat Burnley 2-0 with goals from James McArthur and Andros Townsend.
