Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Manchester United will be looking for their first league win in four games when they entertain bottom club Fulham.

Jose Mourinho’s team have drawn their past three Premier League games, including 2-2 draws against both Southampton and Arsenal in the past week.

Claudio Ranieri’s side meanwhile remain rooted to the bottom of the table but are just one point off Huddersfield Town in 17th and they will therefore hope to snatch something from Old Trafford. Follow our live stream of latest updates below.

What time does it start?

Manchester United vs Fulham kicks off at 3pm (GMT)

Where can I watch it?

The match will not be shown live on TV or online in the UK.

Independent Sport will keep you up to date with all the goals as they fly in via our live blog.

Highlights will be shown at 10:30pm on BBC One.

Player to watch

Jesse Lingard: The 25-year-old only managed his first goal of the season in Manchester United’s draw with Arsenal, but it seems that the England international could be hitting some form ahead of the packed Christmas schedule after a frustrating start to the season. He provided some much-needed energy through the middle in midweek and his substitution took the spark out of the hosts' attacks. Pace will be vital for United if they are to turn these draws into victories, and Lingard will be key to that.
