From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

It's all to play for at Old Trafford
If United wish to continue their quest to finish in the top four of the table, then a win tonight is requisite. They have currently gone 19 league games without defeat, which is Mourinho's longest unbeaten streak since a 40-match streak with Chelsea in 2005. The Reds are particuarly lethal on home turf, with only one defeat in their last 36 matches at Old Trafford.
This is a statistic that makes a mid-week trip away to United sound rather unappealing for The Toffees, but they are also desperate for three points. A win for the visitors tonight will mean they will overtake Arsenal in the table and draw level on points with Mourinho's side. Koeman is on a mission to become the first manager in Premier League history to win three away matches to United.
