It is another mistake from Gueye. He stops in the penalty area when tracking Martial and sticks out a leg which the Frenchman tumbles over.

Well well, Pogba is one lucky man. The Frenchman takes an eternity with his run-up and when he does strike it, Jordan Pickford gets a strong hand to it.
Luckily for Pogba the goalkeeper parries straight back to him, and he makes no mistake with the rebound.

Pickford nearly has a (another?) moment to forget. Martial causes more havoc down the left and he eventually finds Pogba. The Frenchman's left-foot shot is saved by England's no.1, but the rebound falls to Rashford who slots home.

It has been a quiet last 15 minutes for Everton, and it shows as Walcott wastes a good position on the right which troubles neither the United defence nor offers something that Bernard or Richarlison can attack.

Fred scored on his last start at Old Trafford, and he tries to replicate that feat here. His shot from 30 yards does not test Pickford though.

Seamus Coleman does well down the right and picks out the onrushing Sigurdsson, but again de Gea does not break a sweat to save.

Can Everton snatch something before the break? Well, they might have, but Theo Walcott's left-foot effort is tame and straight at de Gea after a promising run.
