The Blues could leap above United too with a win this afternoon, though that would involve victory by a three-goal margin at Old Trafford, not something Jose Mourinho is likely to give up lightly to his old foe Antonio Conte.
Both managers have done their best to play down their rift in the buildup to this one, a far cry from the vocal and very public sparring of a month ago. This one promises to be a tasty affair on the touchline as well as the pitch.

Alexis Sanchez crosses towards Romelu Lukaku who acrobatically gets his lefts foot up and behind him to volley towards goal. The close range effort is brilliantly turned behind by Thibaut Courtois.

68: Antonio Valencia is booked for a foul on Eden Hazard. From the resulting free kick, Willian swings a low cross to the front post and David De Gea almost spills the ball over the line. Someone get that man a cap, the low sun is clearly causing problems.
