Raheem Sterling scored a 13-minute hat-trick as champions Manchester City beat Watford 3-1 to open up a four-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
There was an element of controversy over the England forward's first goal but his quickfire treble turned a frustrating game decisively in City's favour early in the second half.
Gerard Deulofeu did pull one back for the visitors at the Etihad Stadium but City held on to turn up the heat on closest challengers Liverpool ahead of their game against Burnley on Sunday.

Half time: It's half time in all of the 3pm kick offs! Spurs are in control against Southampton thanks to Harry Kane's opening goal, while at the bottom of the table Cardiff are on course for a crucial three points. Everton have a controversial 2-0 lead over Newcastle, and Bournemouth and Leicester go into the break with narrow leads.

Fulham are level! Floyd Ayite, who was introduced as a half time substitute, embarks on a driving run and his deflected shot finds its way in.

Southampton made two changes at half time: Oriol Romeu and Charlie Austin replaced Josh Sims and Shane Long. And the Saints have started the second half with more intent. Spurs remain a constant threat on the break though.

That's a big goal for Cardiff, who will climb to 17th as things stand. Víctor Camarasa latches onto a Josh Murphy cross and converts, doubling his side's lead. It comes against the run of play, but Cardiff won't care.

A scare for Spurs as Nathan Redmond works some space to shoot. He hits it well but can only find the side netting.

Newcastle are back in the game! Top scorer Salomon Rondon links up cleverly with Ayoze Perez and slams a left-footed volley past Pickford.
GOAL! Huddersfield 0-2 Bournemouth (Fraser)

Bournemouth have a second at Huddersfield and that could be game over. Wilson this time turns provider for Fraser, who finishes confidently. It looks likely to be a welcome away win for the Cherries.
Southampton 0-1 Tottenham

Spurs should really have a second goal. Eriksen picks out Kane in space in the box, but he can't find the target, instead blazing over. Southampton will still feel they can get something from this.
