From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Manchester City will hope to celebrate their Premier League victory as they host Swansea City on Sunday afternoon.

Pep Guardiola’s men have already been confirmed as champions so a victory this weekend would be the perfect way to round off a fantastic week.

It is not going to be an easy task though as they come up against a Swans side still battling for survival in the Premier League.

What time is it?

The match kicks off on Sunday at 4:30pm.

Where can I watch it?

The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Premier League and Main Event.

It’s a big game for…

Swansea. Currently sitting five points clear of the relegation zone, Carlos Carvalhal’s men could extend the gap between themselves and the drop zone if they take anything from the game.

Also, with both Stoke City and Southampton not in Premier League action this weekend, it could be a real opportunity to ramp up the pressure.

Best stat…

Swansea have lost their last three games at the Etihad Stadium by the same scoreline. The Welsh outfit have fallen to a 2-1 defeat on each of their last three visits to face the Citizens.

Player to watch…

Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian has returned from injury in great form. The 21-year-old has netted three goals in his last four games in all competitions. He also scored two in the 2-1 home win over the Swans last season.

Manchester City got off to a blistering start and David Silva's early goal was quickly followed by a strike from Raheem Sterling. The two quick goals threatened to start an annihilation of Swansea but the visitors got their act together and tightened up as the half progressed. Anyone would think City were champions...

Swansea get the second half going

46: Manchester City have started the second half at a frightening pace. David Silva almost plays Raheem Sterling through on goal, then Danilo produces a great cross which evades everyone in sky blue.

51: David Silva's delightful cross-field pass finds Kevin De Bruyne on the left. He strolls into the box and blasts a shot into the near side-netting.

"It's been a challenge and he's stood up to it." Gary Neville is full of praise of Ederson in his debut season in the Premier League. He lines up this afternoon but lets be honest, he could have brought a chair and a Sunday paper out there.

Manchester City 3-0 Swansea

What a goal! Kevin De Bruyne!

That's a strike that goes above and beyond the description of world class. Kevin De Bruyne picks up the ball on the right side of the pitch and with his right foot cuts across the ball and slams it into the top corner of the net. The ball is slowly rising and hit with venomous pace, that's as clean a strike you'll ever see.

56: Almost for Swansea.

The visitors win a corner and the delivery finds Alfie Mawson who heads just over from the six yard box. Almost the start of the greatest ever comeback.
