4' - Oumar Niasse has an early chance for Everton but he fails to properly connect with Gylfi Sigurdsson's delicious free-kick delivery and the ball tricks behind for a goal-kick.
9' - Slow start here at Vicarage Road. Watford have probably just about edged the early stages but there's really not much in it.
12' - Orestis Karnezis is forced into a smart stop at his near post to prevent Oumar Niasse's deflected cross from giving Everton the lead.
15' - Everton's Gylfi Sigurdsson plays a nice one-two with Tom Davies on the edge of the box before getting a shot away. However, the midfielder's effort is poor and Orestis Karnezis makes an easy save.

Gerard Deulofeu has looked lively for the hosts but he's prone to overcomplicating things and he, like everybody else on the pitch, is yet to make a meaningful contribution to the match.
