At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Merseysiders have endured a mixed start to the season, with a thrashing of Arsenal followed by a collapse against Manchester City encapsulating their inconsistency.
Jurgen Klopp’s men will have to be at their best against a United side who sit joint top and are so far unbeaten in the league.
Although the likes of Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini will be missing from midfield, United are full of confidence having won six games on the bounce.
Liverpool’s main injury absence is Sadio Mane who picked up a strained hamstring while away on international duty with Senegal.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game:
What time does it start?
The game kicks off at 12.30pm on Saturday 14 October at Anfield.
Where can I watch it?
Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event will be broadcasting the game. Alternatively you can return this page for updates from our live blog.
It’s a big game for…
Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian has scored in every game bar one that he has played at club and international level this season. After the defining move of his career, one to a club with the stature of Manchester United too, he has seamlessly acclimatised to his new surroundings. But doubts linger over his ability to perform against the biggest opponents, with critics accusing him of being a ‘flat track bully’. Saturday afternoon in the cauldron of Anfield – against United’s old rivals Liverpool – would be the perfect time to prove his calibre.
Player to watch…
Ander Herrera. The Spaniard was one of the vital cogs in United’s midfield last season but with the arrival of Nemanja Matic has found playing time increasingly hard to come by. Injuries to Pogba and Fellaini mean he is in line to make just his second league start of the season. Will he be fresh and raring to go, or feeling a bit rusty?

Carragher: Salah can step in for absent Mane
Sadio Mane is absent for Liverpool today but Jamie Carragher believes summer signing Mo Salah can fill the void left by the Senegal international.
"Salah wasn't just bought to play alongside Mane," Carragher said. "When Mane was out last season, Liverpool didn't have anyone that was remotely close to him in terms of the way he plays. So Salah has got that pace, maybe not quite the level of Mane but he's made a great start to his Premier League career with Liverpool."

The Sky cameras captured Jose Mourinho speaking with his predecessor Louis van Gaal in the tunnel a short while ago.
Van Gaal presided over two victories at Anfield during his Old Trafford tenure, the first of which, a 2-1 victory in March 2015, has been described by Gary Neville as the best United performance at Anfield that he can remember.
Klopp explains his team selection
Jurgen Klopp is without Sadio Mane today due to a hamstring injury but the German believes the team he's selected is capable of coming away from today's match with a positive result.
He said: “I thought it makes sense to bring in a strong line-up and in the end that was the result. I’m happy.
“We know Sadio’s not available and that is not the best news, but when all the other boys came back in good shape, feeling good and looking forward to the game it was not too difficult.
“I have to say, a few decisions were close because a lot of players were in good shape before we left for the international break, but it was a decision for today and I hope it will work out.”
Countdown to kick-off
We are just under 15 minutes away from kick-off in the biggest match in English football.
Thierry Henry: United are facing their first big test
"This is the first time they've played against a team that's challenged them. I would like to see a good game because last year they (Liverpool and United) didn't give us two good games, home or away."

Could Martial be key for United?
Anthony Martial suffered an acute case of Second Season Syndrome last term, struggling to replicate the form of his debut campaign at Manchester United.
However, he remains a firm fan favourite at Old Trafford and has started the season in good form, scoring five goals in nine games.
He starts ahead of Marcus Rashford today and has a decent goalscoring record against Liverpool, having netted twice in five appearances against the Anfield club.
