From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

When is it?
Kick-off is at 4.00pm on Sunday, 12 March, at Anfield.
Where can I watch it?
Sky Sports 1 will be broadcasting the game. Coverage starts at 3.30pm.
It’s a big game for…
Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian’s form has slipped in recent weeks but he was able to strike early against Arsenal last Saturday to clinch his first goal in six games. It could prove to be a turning point for the player as he seeks to get his season back on track. He comes up against Michael Keane on Sunday and will need a big performance if he’s to stand any chance of getting a sniff in against Burnley.
Best stat…
Liverpool have scored 19 goals in the opening 30 minutes of Premier League games this season - five more than any other club.
Player to watch...
Joey Barton. Mercurial, impulsive and pugnacious: Barton is a player who gives as good as he gets. Seemingly embroiled in controversy on a fortnightly basis, expect fireworks from the midfielder as he prepares to take on, and disrupt, Liverpool’s central unit. Despite his antics, both on and off the pitch, he continues to deliver for Burnley and will likely play a vital role for the side on Sunday.
Past three meetings…
Burnley 2 Liverpool 0, Premier League, August 2016
Liverpool 2 Burnley 0, Premier League, March 2015
Burnley 0 Liverpool 1, Premier League, December 2014

Burnley to win: 13/1

78 MINS
Keane finds Brady on the right, but his delivery into the box is dismal. It's over hit and it flies out of play.
Whilst chasing a one goal deficit, with just 12 minutes to go - they need to be doing better from there.
79 MINS
Substitution: Origi is replaced by Lucas.
Substitution: Gray is replaced by Vokes.
82 MINS
Burnley continue to hunt for the equaliser, but their efforts currently remain unrewarded. They are failing to find an opening in the Liverpool defence.
85 MINS
Heaton delivers yet another ball deep into the Liverpool box, but it's not enough to break down Klopp's defence. The keeper directed this one to avoid Mignolet, but still it was unable to find a Burnley head.
FULL TIME
LIVERPOOL 2 - 1 BURNLEY
It's all over at Anfield, with Liverpool leaving with a deserved three points. An early opener from Barnes gave the visitors an early glimmer of hope, but goals from Wijnaldum and Can provided the lead. It was far from pretty, but they have the three points so that is all that matters.
Thanks for tuning in today, it's been a great day of football. Until next time, that's all from me.
