Liverpool closed the gap to Premier League leaders Manchester City with a late victory over Swansea in the lunchtime kick-off.

Manchester United 1 Stoke 0: Free kick to United and Rooney tamely hits it straight into the arms of the keeper. Chance wasted.

GOAL! Manchester United 1 Stoke 1 - Joe AllenHahaha, that's a truly hideous goal and it's all square. Johnson shots from distance, it's deflected and De Gea palms it away. Walters nips in somehow cuts it back across the face of goal via the crossbar and Allen smashes it in from a yard out.

Battle of the mascots such a mismatch it's almost difficult to report on. The diabolically badly named Chirpy Cockerel smashing 'Moonchester' out of the park.954853f8-1396-46f7-b617-9dfe0df44e27.jpg

Charlie Austin hits the inside of the post from a brilliant Steven Davis pass. Still 0-0, 15 mins

Lloris does well diving to his left to keep out Aguero's free-kick. Just a few signs Manchester City are waking up.

Burnley 0 Arsenal 0: Not much to report so far, Iwobe has spaffed a first time shot over the bar but that is about it.

Burnley 0 Arsenal 0: Iwobe shanks another shot horribly off target and Arsene Wenger looks furious!
