From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Fulham were forced to settle for a point after Wolves fought back at Craven Cottage.
Substitute Ryan Sessegnon climbed off the bench to slam home what he thought would be the winner late on but Romain Saiss profited from yet more poor defending to grab a share of the spoils.
The point sees Claudio Ranieri's men climb off the bottom of the table, at least temporarily.

HALF TIME! FULHAM 0-0 WOLVES
The first half produces few glimpses of quality, with Fulham the better of the two sides but no goals means we go in level.
Mitrovic has had the best of the chances, with his moment one-on-one with Patricio a particularly big opportunity but the big frame of the Portuguese kept him at bay.
Nuno Espirito Santo will be expecting a lot more from his players in the second half.
A big half time team talk for both on the horizon.
He's been the most likely to open the scoring this afternoon, for sure.
50 mins: Fulham 0-0 Wolves
Good football from Wolves and Jonny has space on the left hand side and teases in a good cross towards Jimenez.
He out jumps Mawson but his header goes just wide of the near post.
Much better from Nuno Espiritio Santo's side.
51 mins: CHANCE! Fulham 0-0 Wolves
The Wolves improvement shows no sign of letting up and Cavalleiro sends in a good cross towards Gibbs-White who tries the acrobatics but can't get contact on the shot.
Rico collects.
Not a fantastic stat for Fulham and they don't look like scoring so far this half...yet.
56 mins: Fulham 0-0 Wolves
Wolves keeping the ball much better and are slowly but surely probing more and more.
Fulham are dropping deeper, Mitrovic is losing his impact and these attacks are becoming more pronounced.
Ranieri may think about making a change, soon.
CHANCE! Fulham 0-0 Wolves (58 mins)
As I say, it keeps coming back at that Fulham back line and this time it's Jimenez.
He makes space for himself on the edge of the box and rattles a stinging shot at Rico who can't collect but he does push it out and the defenders clear the danger.
Worrying time at the moment if you're a Fulham fan.
Morgan Gibbs-White is replaced by Helder Costa.
He was disappointing in the first half but improved in the second.
