From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Fulham's chaotic defending cost them again as in-form West Ham roared to a fourth straight victory.

The Cottagers remain the only team in England without a clean sheet this season after goals from Robert Snodgrass and Michail Antonio gave the visitors a 2-0 win and lifted them to ninth in the Premier League.

New Fulham manager Claudio Ranieri knows he needs to plug the leaks but on this evidence he has a lots of work still to do with his side still rooted to the foot of the table.

West Ham's goals were beautifully worked, but when not one of the seven defenders in attendance thought to close down Snodgrass on edge the area, and when Javier Hernandez - a player also known as 'Little Pea' - won a header in the box to set up Antonio's second, Ranieri's problems were laid bare.

FULHAM 0-2 WEST HAM - HALF TIME:

It's been a weird game because Fulham haven't been all that bad and yet you'd imagine they've been well beaten in all aspects today.

Instead, they've simply not been able to live with their own mistakes as they just gifted West Ham the lead and then gifted them a second one, too.

Kamara and Mitrovic have had the best of the opportunities for the Cottagers but it's goals from form man Snodgrass and Antonio who give West Ham a somewhat comfortable first half advantage.

Christie replaces Ream in Fulham's defence.

Fulham 0-2 West Ham - 51 mins

Fulham have started this half well and good play down the right sees Christie clear but his well drilled cross is cleared away.

Kamara found offside now and this defensive back line dealing with everything that is being thrown at them (which is not much to be honest).

Fulham 0-2 West Ham - CORNER FULHAM

Good defending from Zabaleta leads to a Fulham corner which bounces nicely in the box but Mitrovic's shot is heading for the corner but Balbuena gets in the way.

Some controversy if it hits his arm but no real appeal.

Seri is replaced by Johansen.

Meanwhile, West Ham make a change of their own with Noble coming off for Obiang.

Fulham 0-2 West Ham - 63 mins

West Ham should've been awarded a corner but nothing forthcoming from Mike Dean.

The ball was definitely out of play.

Fulham 0-2 West Ham - 68 mins WEST HAM CHANCE

West Ham recycle the ball despite Fulham appealing for offside.

Zabaleta is in but his cross doesn't find a West Ham man.

Fulham are making a mess of attacking as well as defending, now.

Fulham 0-2 West Ham - 72 mins

Chicharito is to be replaces by Carroll and he doesn't look all that chuffed.

Fulham 0-2 West Ham - 73 mins

Snodgrass with a good freekick which is cleared by Chambers for a corner.

Comes to nothing, though.
