Shorn of Harry Kane it was another Harry who proved Spurs' saviour heading in in stoppage time after Dele Alli, who would later go off injured, had equalised Fernando Llorente's own goal opener.

Man City dominated the first half. They were quickly out of the blocks and caused real problems for Huddersfield in the first 15-20 mins. But once the goal went in the visitors levels dropped, they became sloppier and allowed Huddersfield to respond well.
SECOND HALF: Huddersfield 0 - 1 Man City
City restart the match, they work the ball forward and out to the right, Huddersfield clear it but only as far as Danilo who gets it to De Bruyne. De Bruyne puts the ball into the box and wins a corner.

De Bruyne and Sterling combine on the right to get Sterling in behind the defence. Sterling puts the ball into the centre of the box but Lossl claims it.

Huddersfield press high up the pitch, they work the ball close to the box on the right wing but that's as far as they go as the ball goes out for a goal kick. Huddersfield have found themselves in some decent areas so far but they still haven't been able to create a proper chance on goal.

De Bruyne feeds the ball to Sane who is waiting on the left side of the box. Sane looks up and puts the ball across the centre of the box. Sterling reacts diving forward and heading the ball into the back of the net to double Man City's lead.
56 mins: Huddersfield 0 - 3 Man City - Sane
The ball comes forward from Danilo near the halfway line, Aguero wins the header and flicks it into the path of Sane who runs it into the box and guides it past Lossl.
Game over.
60 mins: Huddersfield 0 - 3 Man City
Fernandinho is replaced by David Silva as Diakhaby goes off for Mounie.
