Aaron Ramsey picks Danny Welbeck out in the box but, after a good first touch on his chest, the striker volleys a shot wide of the near post.
58' - That's more like it from Arsenal!
The Gunners almost open the scoring through Mohamed Elneny but he sees his close-range effort from Hector Bellerin's cut-back blocked. The ball then rebounds back to Nacho Monreal, who brings a good save out of Jack Butland with a placed shot from the edge of the area.
61' - Alexandre Lacazette replaces Danny Welbeck for Arsenal, while Saido Berahino replaces Mame Biram Diouf for Stoke.
65' - Alexandre Lacazette finds himself in a good position in the penalty area after Mesut Ozil's neat pick-out but the Frenchman, with Ryan Shawcross rushing over to challenge him, loses his footing and the ball harmlessly trickles behind for a goal-kick.
The Frenchman is clearly lacking match sharpness after almost two months out.
68' - Xherdan Shaqiri tries his luck from distance with his notoriously-weaker right foot but the shot is tame and David Ospina makes an easy save.
70' - Woodwork!
Xherdan Shaqiri almost scores direct from a corner but he's denied by David Ospina's far post.
Not sure if that was intentional or not but that would've been some goal.
72' - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finds himself in a one-on-one situation with Jack Butland but the Stoke goalkeeper makes himself big and thwarts the Gabon international.
Moments later Calum Chambers has a good chance to open the scoring for Arsenal but his mistimed close-range effort is easily kept out by Butland.
74' - PENALTY TO ARSENAL!
Bruno Martins-Indi trips Mesut Ozil in the box and referee Craig Pawson points the to the spot.
