Chelsea make seven changes to the side that narrowly beat Cardiff at the weekend.
Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante come back in whilst youngsters Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek start.
Palmieri, Christensen and Giroud are the other changes.
Marcos Alonso has a hamstring injury, with Higuain and Willian on the bench.
