Their hosts have won just once since the turn of the year and will be desperate for a result today as they attempt to put distance between themselves and the bottom three.
The visitors are without forwards Alvaro Morata and Pedro through suspension, while Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas have been sidelined with hamstring injuries. Brighton will have to make do without Steve Sidwell who has fractured his ankle while recovering from back injury.

18' - Tiemoue Bakayoko's first-time 20-yard strike from Willian's cutback looks to be heading in but Mat Ryan gets down well to his left to parry the ball away.
26' - Eden Hazard leads another dangerous Chelsea attack before switching the ball to Willian, whose angled effort from the right side of the penalty area is parried by Mat Ryan.
28' - Chelsea almost score again but Michy Batshuayi's close-range effort is saved by Mat Ryan after more good work from Eden Hazard, who has been absolutely superb in the opening third of this match.
30' - What a save!
Tomer Hemed thinks he's equalised with a header from close range but Willy Caballero makes a superb instinctive stop to deny the Israeli forward.
35' - Ezequiel Schelotto has another penalty appeal turned down by Jon Moss after a coming-together with Tiemoue Bakayoko.
To add insult to injury, the Brighton defender is then booked as a result of his overzealous protestations.
