As United pressed for an equaliser, Romelu Lukaku was guilty of missing a number of chances, before Fred was judged to have fouled Alexandre Lacazette and a penalty was awarded to the hosts, which Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang calmly tucked away to secure the victory.
