Arsenal are looking to end an unwanted run of five games against Liverpool without a win, as well as make up for the 4-0 humbling they suffered at Anfield earlier this season, when the two sides meet at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night. Just a point separates the two sides in the Premier League table and both have sights firmly set on qualifying for next term’s Champions League.
However, pre-season hopes of a Premier League title challenge are well and truly over, and neither can afford to slip up tonight as both Burnley and Tottenham are sniffing down their necks with the four teams split by just three points.

1 mins: An early free-kick for Liverpool as Klavan is caught in possession but illegally dispossessed by Ozil. Play is quickly going in Arsenal's favour though as Maitland-Niles nabs possession on the left, but the move breaks down and Mignolet collects.
4 mins: Arsenal make the first meaningful break as Iwobi slips the ball to Wilshere, who ships it left to Sanchez. The Chilean fashions to shoot on his right foot, but it's blocked and once it's cleared, Arsenal win a free-kick on the left about 35m out. Bellerin battles for the delivery against Can, and wins the corner for his efforts.
6 mins: Ozil's delivery is aimed for Monreal, but his flick-down lands at the feet of an offside Koscielny and the danger passes.
7 mins: Maitland-Niles copes with Salah's first real attack down the right, but he puts the ball out for a corner and referee Martin Atkinson decides that the contact between them is not enough for a free-kick. Coutinho delivers the corner, but it's well taken by Cech. An even start so far.
