An incredible performance by Nottingham Forest as they deserved their 3-0 win, meaning they have three wins in a row in the Premier League, the first time this century and they have maintained their perfect home record against West Ham since they were promoted in 2022. Wood opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a lovely cushioned header from a Moreno cross on the byline. This would be the only real chance of the half for Forest, but West Ham were poor the entire half, unable to deal with the pace of Forest, but they were almost level but for Wood clearing an effort off the line in the 46th minute, before their match was turned upside down a minute later when Alvarez earned a second yellow and his marching orders. Forest then dominated proceedings after the interval, grabbing two beautiful goals, first from Hudson-Odoi in the 65th minute as he curled his effort from the edge of the box with his right foot into the opposite corner of the goal, before Aina struck a shot into the top corner in the 78th minute. The Hammers offered little throughout the game with only two shots on target from four in total, giving them an xG of 0.16. Whereas Forest had an xG of 2 from six shots on target from 19n efforts. The home side deserved their victory, with their direct approach proving fruitful, with their possession increasing to 53 percent as they had more of the ball in the second half due to West Ham being reduced to 10. The London side will have to evaluate that match quickly as there is a lot of improvement needed.

Yates denied from making it four, as the flag was raised for an offside. The decision was taken to VAR, which deliberated over it for a long time, but the decision stood with the midfielder clearly offside.

WHAT A SAVE! Fabianski denied Milenkovic from point blank range. An excellent ball in behind the West Ham defence for Anderson down the left wing was met by the midfielder. As he ran towards the by-line he dragged a cross back to the penalty spot for the Serbian defender and he struck the ball towards the goal but the Polish keeper instinctively raised his arm to push the ball over the bar for a corner.
