Rodgers opt for two changes to his Leicester XI by comparison with the EFL Cup loss to Newcastle, as Vardy is preferred to Daka up front and Mendy makes his first Premier League start of the season - coming in for the injured Ayoze Perez. Once again, James Maddison, James Justin and Jonny Evans all miss out too, but Praet is now fit enough for the bench.

Nottingham Forest make one change to the side which started their EFL Cup win in midweek, as Willy Boly misses out with an ankle injury that forced him off against Wolves. Taiwo Awoniyi (groin) is also sidelined today, along with players including Cheikhou Kouyate, Jesse Lingard and Moussa Niakhate. Replacing Boly in central defence, McKenna is promoted to the hosts' back four.
