Nottingham Forest vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Nottingham Forest's previous 5-0 failure against was firmly forgotten as they trounced Brighton 7-0. The day's glut of goals began in the 12th minute as a long Dunk leg diverted a Gibbs-White cross into his own goal. The scoring continued in the 25th minute with Gibbs-White's deftly flicked header from an Elanga corner. Forest utilised their frenetic tempo and momentum to add a third before the break - as Wood nodded down another fine delivery from Elanga in the 32nd minute. The second-half scoring began in the 64th minute, as Wood notched again, tapping in from an Elanga pull-across. The Kiwi had his 17th goal of the campaign and the day's hat-trick from the spot in the 69th minute, after Lamptey threw Gibbs-White to the floor at a corner inexplicably. A late flurry saw the scoreline bulge as the Seagulls were blown firmly off-course on the gusts of the Trent. Both Williams and Silva finished well as Brighton's defence downed tools amidst the onslaught. Now, Forest are third and level on points with Arsenal ahead of their game. The Tricky Trees exceeded a 3.23 xG in super fashion today, while Brighton underperformed with their 0.80 xG. Thank you for joining us today, goodbye!

Forest are enjoying themselves here, if the scoreline wasn't a clear enough indicator. Elanga, Williams and Silva play some nice triangles around the flapping Seagulls who just can't get near before it's run out of play. This has been some way to bounce back from a 5-0 drubbing at Bournemouth.
