Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa
Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa are level at the break. After a cagey opening, it was Cooper’s side who took the lead through a summer acquisition. Making his first start for Forest, Dennis got away from Mings to head a Gibbs-White free-kick past Martinez. Taking the lead in their previous two home fixtures, their advantage in the game lasted just seven minutes. 37-year-old Young slammed in the equaliser after a headered clearance from Yates fell to his feet. He shifted the ball into his right foot before drilling the ball low past Henderson. Briefly, Villa thought they had turned the game in their favour when Watkins slid in to put away a cross from Ramsey, but the striker was offside.
