Champions League-chasing Newcastle host an in-form Fulham in the Premier League

The Magpies are flying high under Eddie Howe, fourth in the table and unbeaten since the end of August in this competition - though they did lose to Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup recently. Goalless draws with Leeds and Arsenal recently leave them slightly adrift of the Manchester clubs above them, but a top-four finish this term would represent huge progress.
Fulham, meanwhile, are into the top six after four wins on the spin, including a derby win over Chelsea last time out. Aleksandar Mitrovic returns from suspension today to face his former club.

A mazy run from Willian moves Fulham up the pitch and the ball is worked out to Kurzawa. His cross is poor and held by Pope. Newcastle, in turn, break with the ball and Longstaff attempted cut-back in the box can't find Wilson and goes behind for a corner.

Guimaraes receives extra strapping on his ankle and looks okay to continue. The nature of Pope's injury is unclear but the Newcastle shot-stopper remains on the pitch for now.

A burst of energy down the left from Willock is too much for Tete. His cutback evades Wilson but Almiron gets hold of the ball and sees his effort deflected out for a corner. Tripper delivers from the set piece and it falls to Willock on the edge of the box but his effort is sliced well wide of the left post.
