Ruud van Nistelrooy's interim spell ends with Manchester United recording a commanding 3-0 victory over Leicester City. Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring in the 18th minute at Old Trafford, while his header deflected in off Victor Kristiansen 20 minutes later. The hosts had an xG of just 0.70 compared to their opponents' 0.77, but wrapped up the victory eight minutes from time, when substitute Alejandro Garnacho superbly curled home from 20 yards. Both sides remain 13th and 15th in the table respectively, but United have closed the gap on the teams above. They begin life under Ruben Amorim away at Ipswich Town on November 24, the day after Leicester host Chelsea at the King Power Stadium. Thanks for joining us today. Until next time, goodbye!
