Manchester City are reigning champions after beating Liverpool to the finish line in a neck-and-neck 2021/22 title race where a comeback win on the final day of the season against Aston Villa secured a fourth title in five years for Pep Guardiola's side.

Erling Haaland has started the campaign in outrageous form after signing from Borussia Dortmund and newly promoted Forest will be hard-pressed to stop him from adding to his tally tonight.

Manchester City thrash Nottingham Forest 6-0. The hosts dominated this game from start to finish - and Haaland got them off to a rapid start. The towering striker converted Foden's cross early and didn't look back: he added a second with a tap-in, before nodding in Stones' pass to make it back-to-back hattricks. And City continued this relentless pressure into the second half, even with a slew of substitutions. Cancelo's fine strike made it four, before Alvarez added two more excellent goals to complete the rout and leave the final scoreline at 6-0.
