Manchester City go into the break with a 1-0 lead over Luton Town at the Etihad Stadium. The home side might feel they should have at least a couple more after a dominant display in today's game, but they haven't been clinical enough in the final third. It took just two minutes for Guardiola's men to open the scoring, as Haaland's acrobatic effort rebounded off the head of Hashioka and flew into the top corner. Since then, City have looked the more likely to score the second, with Nunes unfortunate not to find the back of the net as his effort glanced off the post. Edwards will be happy to go into half-time just one goal down, but he will be demanding plenty more from his team from an attacking sense, with the Hatters struggling to get into City's half in the opening 45 minutes.
