West Ham host Arsenal this evening, hoping to bounce back after their midweek defeat by Wolves.

The Hammers ended a torrid run of recent form by stunning Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but failed to capitalise on that performance by falling to a 2-0 loss at the Molineux. Their latest loss leaves them 16th in the league, just one point above the relegation zone.

Tonight they play Arsenal, another team struggling for form. In fact, victory for West Ham tonight will leave the London rivals level on points. Follow the latest below:

West Ham 1-3 Arsenal

72' - Surely that's the points for Arsenal tonight. Nicolas Pepe with a very impactful few minutes, there, with a goal and assist.

Karl Matchett9 December 2019 21:33

West Ham 1-3 Arsenal

75' - Martinelli tees up Torreira, but his drilled shot hits the body of a defender and West Ham clear. Are we back to questions over Manuel Pellegrini? It'll be five league defeats in six now if they don't mount a late comeback.

West Ham 1-3 Arsenal

79' - Pepe goes down in the box but there's no foul. Snodgrass is replaced by Nathan Holland.

West Ham 1-3 Arsenal

83' - No great effort from the home side as yet to mount any kind of comeback. It really looks like Antonio or nobody to fashion half-decent shooting chances.

West Ham 1-3 Arsenal

86' - Arsenal seeing this one out easily in the end. Xhaka being replaced by Guendouzi.

West Ham 1-3 Arsenal

88' - Into the last minutes. Game is back to walking pace. Pepe off, Nelson on for Arsenal's last change.

West Ham 1-3 Arsenal

90' - Seven minutes to be added on.

Karl Matchett9 December 2019 21:51

West Ham 1-3 Arsenal

90+4' - Aubameyang cuts into the area on his right foot and drills a shot at goal, but sees it blocked. Not sure the attacking quality in this game warrants five goals being scored in the 90 minutes, in truth!

Karl Matchett9 December 2019 21:56

West Ham 1-3 Arsenal

90+6' - Ozil threads a pass for Martinelli, but Martin is alert to the danger and gathers the ball. West Ham have been very poor this half.
