From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. West Ham host Arsenal this evening, hoping to bounce back after their midweek defeat by Wolves.

The Hammers ended a torrid run of recent form by stunning Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but failed to capitalise on that performance by falling to a 2-0 loss at the Molineux. Their latest loss leaves them 16th in the league, just one point above the relegation zone.

Tonight they play Arsenal, another team struggling for form. In fact, victory for West Ham tonight will leave the London rivals level on points. Follow the latest below:

What is our prediction?

West Ham 1-2 Arsenal

GOAL! West Ham 1-0 Arsenal

38 - As bad as the game has been so far, this goal was....worse! A corner wasn't cleared, a shot was his-hit, Arsenal still couldn't clear their lines and then as a cross is clipped in, Ogbonna throws his head at the ball, hits it with his shoulder and it deflects in off Maitland-Niles. Very scrappy, but 1-0.

West Ham 1-0 Arsenal

40' - A chance for 2-0. Leno passes out, Torreira tries a flick on the edge of his own box, giving it away. Fornals can't make the most of it, though, with his cross hitting the first man.

West Ham 1-0 Arsenal

44' - Final moments of the half. Arsenal are very, very bad. Snodgrass goes down in the box but there are no calls for the penalty. Pepe launches a counter but his pass is wayward.
