Arsenal‘s £40m bid for Wilfried Zaha was swiftly knocked back by Crystal Palace, however, the Gunners are still prioritising the winger over Malcom, who has reportedly been offered to the club by Barcelona. West Ham are set to accept a £22.4m offer from Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG for Austrian forward Marko Arnautovic.
Arnautovic has made it clear for the second time in as many transfer windows that he would like to leave east London after having his head turned by a lucrative offer from China.
Originally, the Hammers were set on forcing Arnautovic to honour his contract but now his disruptive presence on the rest of the squad has meant the club have decided to sanction a move at a cut-price.
Transfer confirmed: Phil Jagielka has made an emotional return to Sheffield United on a free transfer after his Everton contract expired.
Jagielka, 36, left Sheffield United to join Everton for £4m move in 2007 and has now signed a one-year deal at his boyhood club.
The former England centre-half had been Everton's captain since 2013 but fell out of favour under Marco Silva last season, making just seven Premier League appearances.
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder said: "He's a really good footballer and a great character to have around in our first season back in the Premier League. His desire to come here was obvious and I'm absolutely delighted he's back home."

The Daily Echo reports that Southampton will only consider allowing midfielder Mario Lemina leave on a permanent deal rather than a season-long loan.
