Hello and welcome along to today's Indy Football transfer blog! We will have all the latest news and updates right here throughout the day...
First up is the news that Manchester United appear to be in pole position to sign Bruno Fernandes this summer from Sporting.
The midfielder produced a prolific season last term, racking up goals and assists, and his performances caught the eye of scouts all over Europe.
United have been heavily linked with the Portuguese 24-year-old and now they have received a boost with the admission by Sporting manager by Marcel Keizer that he is likely to be on his way out the door this summer.
Keizer told the outlet : "I want Bruno Fernandes to stay, but everyone knows the current situation, it's going to be difficult to keep him going, he's on vacation, we'll see what happens."
Across town, Manchester City are eyeing Real Madrid star Isco to bolster their attacking options next season.
According to the Express, Pep Guardiola sees Isco as the perfect replacement for David Silva, who is set to depart the Etihad next summer.
Zinedine Zidane prefers Isco to Gareth Bale and would ideally like to keep the Spain international, but knows he needs to recoup funds after the club splashed out on Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and others early in this window.
Arsenal have received some pushback in their hopes to sign Celtic full-back Kieran Tierney.
The 22-year-old left-back is high on the Gunners' wanted list but Celtic manager Neil Lennon has demanded they must pay "a lot more" if they are to land their man, according to the Telegraph.
Arsenal had a £15m bid rejected earlier this month with Celtic said to be holding out for at least £25m.
One done deal we are expecting any minute now is Manchester United's new right-back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The defender passed a medical yesterday to all-but complete his move from Crystal Palace for £45m, which could rise to £50m in the future.
And this morning the first pictures of AWB in Manchester United red have been leaked:
Rafael Camacho has joined Sporting Lisbon from Liverpool after snubbing a new contract at Anfield.
The 19-year-old, who made his first-team debut last season for Jurgen Klopp’s side last season, has returned to his boyhood club.
Camacho began his career in Sporting’s academy and was linked with a return to Portugal in January.
Liverpool held off loan interest in the winger, who provided cover at left-back for Andrew Robertson and Alberto Moreno.
But Camacho desired more first-team opportunities and proved reluctant to finalise an agreement on a new contract at Anfield.
Romelu Lukaku has been the source of much speculation this season as Antonio Conte makes the Belgian striker his No1 priority this summer, having taken over at Inter Milan.
But the latest news is that even though Manchester United would be willing to let Lukaku depart, they are determined to recoup the £89m they paid for his services from Everton.
United are particularly resolute regarding Inter's plan to first loan and then buy the player for a total of around £62m, according to the Telegraph.
Moise Kean's father has revealed the Juventus teenager wants to join Inter Milan.
The forward is wanted by Everton, but he has set his sights on the San Siro as his next destination.
According to Biorou Jean, who Kean has previously disassociated himself with due to a spat over tractors and Juve, his son would "like to go" to Inter.
Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is on Manchester United's wanted list, according to a report in the Italian press, in would mark one of the more extraordinary transfers of the summer.
Tuttosport says Aubameyang has given a thumbs up to the idea of joining United should they require a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who could join Inter Milan during the window.
There's is little in the way of explanation of exactly why Arsenal would want or need to sell last season's joint Golden Boot winner, however...
Celtic have completed their first summer signing after landing Toulouse defender Christopher Jullien in a deal reported to be worth £7million.
The 26-year-old centre-back has agreed a four-year deal and boss Neil Lennon said: "We are absolutely delighted to bring Christopher to Celtic. He is a quality player with great attributes and we are very much looking forward to him joining the squad and working with him.
"We've got a squad of great quality already here at the club, who have achieved incredible success over the past few seasons, but it's always good to add further quality to the group, and that's what we've got with Christopher.
"I know the players will be delighted to welcome him into the squad, and I know he will be keen to play his part in the seasons ahead as we look to deliver further success for our supporters."
