Dani Ceballos is delighted with his move to the Emirates on loan from Real Madrid and has revealed the key behind snubbing Tottenham for their north London rivals.
“The coach was the turning point in terms of me joining this massive club,” he told the club’s official website.
“He’s a Spanish coach and he knows me from my time at other clubs. I’m really happy to be able to help Arsenal achieve our objectives.
“I knew I had the confidence of the coach, which was very important for me from the start.”
Four clubs have agreed a fee with Lille for Nicolas Pepe.
L'Equipe believe Inter Milan, Napoli, Arsenal and Liverpool are the clubs.
The Ivorian is one of Europe's hottest properties, with the French club finally willing to sell for €80m (£71.6m).
Manchester United and Atletico Madrid are also thought to be keen.
Moussa Dembele will emerge as a Man United target if they sell Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian is out of favour with the Red Devils, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer prefers Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial through the middle.
And Sky Sports believe the Lyon star is being lined up as Lukaku's replacement for United.
Roma are set to make an audacious move for Mauro Icardi.
Inter Milan want Edin Dzeko, so the Giallorossi are going to package €30m (£27m) plus the Bosnian for the controversial Argentine, report La Repubblica.
Antonio Conte has reiterated several times that Icardi is not part of his project, depreciating Icardi's value.
Yet it remains to be seen whether £27m plus Dzeko will be enough to sell.
PSG appear to have finalised terms over Idrissa Gueye joining from Everton.
And sporting director Leonardo will not stop there, as he looks to sign Paulo Dybala from Juventus.
A move for the Argentine is in the works, claim RMC, with his arrival perhaps signalling the end for Neymar in the capital.
Dean Henderson has re-signed for Sheffield United on a season-long-loan from Manchester United.

Sheffield United have signed Ben Osborn from Nottingham Forest on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
''He's been a fantastic player for Forest in the Championship and I know for certain that two or three clubs in January were sniffing around to take him. He's got a lot of attributes that will help us, going forward, and we're looking forward to him pulling on a red and white shirt."
Walsall have signed 33-year-old Gary Liddle.
Liddle, who can play in defence or midfield, has made over 600 career appearances during spells with Hartlepool, Notts County, Bradford, Chesterfield and Carlisle.
Manchester City manager refused to rule out move for Brazilian full-back Dani Alves after speaking at a press conference in Japan ahead of Saturday’s friendly with Yokohama F Marinos.
Alves is available on a free transfer after his contract at Paris St Germain expired earlier in the summer.
''All the important clubs in the world know his situation and the incredible player he is. He is an extraordinary person, but we have two incredible full-backs. So, that is what it is,” Guardiola said.
Former Swansea midfielder, Leroy Fer, has joined Dutch side Feyenoord on a one-year contract.
Fer is an academy graduate of the club.
