Manchester United host Manchester City at Old Trafford in the first-leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final tonight.

A blockbuster derby fixture over two legs will decide who reaches March’s final at Wembley.

After a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal and a 0-0 draw with Wolves in the FA Cup, the Red Devils are expected to field their strongest available side with a trip to Wembley at stake. Manchester City are also expected to field a strong team after Pep Guardiola shuffled his pack during the 4-1 FA Cup win over Port Vale on Saturday. Follow live coverage below:

Prediction

Manchester United stunned City with derby victory at the Etihad in December, but the reigning champions should have too much quality against an injury-struck Red Devils side on Tuesday.

There'll be three minutes of added time.

Manchester United 1-3 Manchester City

90+2 minutes

It's City doing the probing in injury time, searching for what would surely be a tie-ending goal. Silva gets a shot off in the box but it's blocked.

That's it! An improvement after the break from United but that first half has done the damage. City will feel very confident ahead of the second leg later this month. Another trip to Wembley looks very likely for Pep Guardiola and his players as things stand.
