An entertaining 2-2 draw.

Chelsea again have failed to keep a clean sheet away from home in the league and they haven't been clinical enough in front of goal.

There's been a touch of them trying to walk the ball into the back of the net instead of taking half chances and shots.

Increased pressure on the Everton back line is more likely to yield rewards for the visitors.

Everton have looked good. A lot better than they were against Liverpool in midweek. There's a hunger being shown by Richarlison and Walcott to get into the box and they've kept their shape well.

More of the same needed in the second half.

Everton 1 - 0 Chelsea

Second half: Everton restart the match. The ball is sent out wide to Walcott but goes out for a throw in.

No changes from either side.

Everton 1 - 0 Chelsea

48 mins: Zouma and Calvert-Lewin challenge each other for an aerial ball with the Everton striker coming off worse and winning a free kick. Sigurdsson sends the ball into the box, Calvert-Lewin wins the header and heads the ball over the goal.

Everton 2 - 0 Chelsea - Calvert-Lewin

49 mins: GOAL! Just like the first half Everton start quickly. Zouma's clearance is very poor as the ball spoons vertical, as it comes down Zouma is unable to clear it and Calvert-Lewin nicks the ball off him. He's just got Kepa to beat and he slots the ball past the Chelsea goalkeeper to double Everton's lead.

Everton 2 - 0 Chelsea

51 mins: Richarlison hits one from the edge of the box but Kepa makes the save this time. Everton continue to press and win back the ball in midfield.

Lampard has a worried frown on his face.

Michael Jones7 December 2019 13:39

Everton 2 - 1 Chelsea - Kovacic

52 mins: GOAL! Why worry?

Kante brings the ball down the right wing, Azpilicueta gets into the box and squares it to Willian. The ball is cleared as far as Kovacic who hits the ball on the volley and slots it into the bottom left had corner. Great strike, Chelsea are back in it.

Everton 2 - 1 Chelsea

57 mins: James plays the ball down the wing for Willian to run onto but the winger cannot reach the ball before it goes out of play. Can Everton control the remainder of this game?

Sidibe wins the ball off Kovacic and passes the ball to Calvert-Lewin in the box. He puts his head down and shoots but the shot is blocked.

Everton 2 - 1 Chelsea

60 mins: Chelsea win a corner courtesy of a Reece James cross. Willian sends it deep but Zouma is unable to turn the ball towards goal.

Everton get the ball forward to Walcott who beats Kante and is free in the box. He takes on the shot but Kepa makes the save with a strong right hand.

Michael Jones7 December 2019 13:47

Everton 2 - 1 Chelsea

63 mins: James wins a free kick over on the right side of the pitch. He delivers the free kick into the box, Azpilicueta wins the header but doesn't connect well with it and the ball goes to the far side of the box where it is cleared.

Chelsea bring it back to the edge of the box, a few short, sharp passes make Everton lose their shape and a gap opens up for Kovacic who shoots and puts the ball wide.
