The new champions began the day on 92 points, and with four games remaining they can set a new benchmark for top-flight points. However they will have to do it without their captain Jordan Henderson after he was ruled out for the rest of the campaign, and face a Burnley side in good form since the restart.

Burnley are in good form right now, and Liverpool are without their captain, but even Sean Dyche will struggle to come up with a way to stop Liverpool in full flow. Liverpool 2-0 Burnley.
79 min: Giroud meets a cross and connects well with his header. It's straight at Henderson, who hasn't really looked like conceding tonight.
82 min: Big chance for 4-0! McGoldrick is involved again, slipping a pass through to Mousset and sending the striker through on goal. He waits for Kepa to close him down and tries to lift his finish over the goalkeeper. But he can only guide it wide of the post.
86 min: Another chance for Abraham as Chelsea work the ball quickly out to Hudson-Odoi in the right. His cross is whipped in with pace but Abraham's downward header is too close to Henderson.
87 min: Jorginho slides a pass into the feet of Abraham, who swivels in the box and shoots. Jagielka reads it all the way and makes an excellent block.
90 min: Alonso escapes down the left and lifts the ball to the back post. There are several players in blue waiting in the middle but he misses all of them and Hudson-Odoi can't keep the ball alive.
90+1 min: Sheffield United miss another chance to make it four. Baldock cuts in from the right and finds Osborn, who has Stevens to his left on the overlap. The wing back's shot is blazed over the bar from close range, though.
Three minutes of added time will be played.
That's it! Another hugely impressive win for Sheffield United. Defensively and offensively, they've been better than their expensively-assembled opposition, who were, in truth, dismal. McGoldrick gets a brace, and the Blades move closer to securing a Europa League place.
That result takes Sheffield United up to sixth, above Wolves. They're only five points off the top four as things stand.
Chelsea stay in third for now, but Leicester and Manchester United can move above them if they win their games on Sunday and Monday respectively.
A great day for a player who's had to wait a long time to make a mark in the top flight.
Onto the final game of an eventful day, then: Brighton, having faced the champions Liverpool on Wednesday, now host Manchester City. It doesn't get any easier for Graham Potter's side, who'll be thankful they've already pretty much secured their place in the Premier League for next season.
