Jose Mourinho’s side came unstuck against Antwerp in their second game, momentarily throwing their progress into jeopardy. However, two victories against Ludogorets have put Spurs firmly back in control, with anything other than a defeat in Austria tonight will ensure their qualification into the knockout rounds.
Tottenham are currently in tremendous form, sitting atop of the Premier League table after a close-fought stalemate against Chelsea last weekend. They have lost just one league game thus far but will certainly already have one eye on the north London derby this weekend, with Mourinho expected to rotate his squad. The first game back for fans in England and they’ve been treated to a hungry Arsenal eager to score. Rapid Vienna had a good 10 minute period at the start of the second half but Arsenal played them off the park for the remaining 80 minutes. Mikel Arteta will be a happy man.
