From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Harry Kane scored a stunning goal from the halfway line to give Tottenham Hotspur a 3-2 victory over Juventus in their International Champions Cup clash at Singapore's National Stadium.

The England captain scored deep into injury-time to spark wild celebrations among his teammates, who could scarcely believe their eyes after Kane hit a first-time effort from halfway over the head of Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

Spurs had initially take the lead thanks to Erik Lamela's first-half effort, despite manager Mauricio Pochettino fielding an experimental team against Maurizio Sarri's full-strength Juventus side. But the Italian side's talent soon told in the second half as Gonzalo Higuain came off the bench to equalise before Cristiano Ronaldo put them ahead inside four minutes of each other.

Lucas Moura levelled soon after for the Premier League side with Kane introduced for the second half, while Sarri handed first appearances to Juventus new boys Matthijs de Ligt and Adrien Rabiot. But the best was saved for last as Kane produced his moment of magic to seal the victory to keep Tottenham's pre-season plans on track. Re-live the action below.

Juventus 2-2 Tottenham

65: Ndombele has wasted little time in getting himself immediately involved and plays a brilliant, angled pass to Lucas for a simple finish. Great move!

You feel that De Ligt is still having nightmares about Lucas scoring in front of him and this will not have helped at all.

67: Ndombele is already making a huge difference and curls an effort from range just wide.

71: That's Kyle Walker-Peters' day done, he's had a fine game. As has Anthony Georgiou.

74: Nice defending from De Ligt to deny Lucas in a dangerous position and not even give away a corner. The youngster barely gave him a yard to work with as the saw off the danger.

75: We pause for a three-minute drinks break and goodness the players look like the need that.

81: Harry Kane goes close to putting Spurs ahead after dragging a left-footed shot wide having cut in from the flank.

86: The game is getting a little frantic and stretched now as both sides look to find a winner. The large number of changes has also not helped a great deal with the flow in the second-half.

We're into added time here, will there be a winner? Neither side look too likely to add a third.

HARRY KANE!

FROM THE HALF-WAY LINE!

What a goal that is! The ball falls to Kane and he tries his luck from miles out and catches Szczesny out to seal the win!

As far as pre-season games go, that was excellent!
