Bournemouth and Tottenham met in a bad-tempered Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.

Mauricio Pochettino's side could have guaranteed Champions League football with a win this afternoon but debutant goalkeeper Mark Travers and red cards for Son Heung-min and Juan Foyth left them with an uphill battle.

And Nathan Ake headed what proved to be the winner in injury time as the Cherries finished their season at home with a win and leave Spurs with work to do to secure a top four spot.

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock: "We've got to win this game. If we don't we can forget it, so we've got to concentrate on that really.

"I'm a bit sad. You're bound to feel a bit sad. One or two more points would see us in a different situation. I think we may have accepted where we are at the beginning of the season. We'll give it our best shot against Palace."
