From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Follow the latest updates live as Arsenal take on Crystal Palace looking to strengthen their place in the Premier League top four.

Arsenal head into the match off the back of their progression to the Europa League semi-finals and a first Premier League away win in two months following last Monday’s win over Watford. With Tottenham losing on Saturday and Manchester United trailing at Everton, Arsenal can seize the advantage in the race for Champions League football.

But Crystal Palace will be no pushovers in this London derby, with Roy Hodgson’s side still needing to mathematically secure their place in the Premier League, and with the Eagles still a point away from the 40-point mark they cannot be taken lightly by Unai Emery’s side. Follow the live updates below.

What time does it start?

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace kicks off at 4pm on Sunday 21 April.

Where can I watch it?

The match will not be shown live in the UK, so follow the latest updates with The Independent’s live blog. Highlights will be shown on Match of the Day 2 at 10.30pm on BBC Two.

TEAM NEWS: CARDIFF CITY VS LIVERPOOL

Well, the action continues here at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Liverpool can afford nothing less than a win following Manchester City's 1-0 win over Tottenham yesterday, and they may need demonstrate a similarly determined performance as Guardiola's men yesterday.

That's because their hosts today are still in the middle of a relegation battle, but Cardiff's fears were eased slightly by their 2-0 win at Brighton in midweek.

Arsenal will also be looking to take advantage of Man Utd's humiliation at Everton, as they face a Palace side who upset Man City at the Etihad earlier in the season.

"No obvious weaknesses for Liverpool" says Graeme Souness as Jordan Henderson starts at the base of the midfield.

Cardiff have not beaten a top half side at home all season, but is this where Liverpool's grip on the title loosens?

Teams are out at both the Cardiff City Stadium and the Emirates.

A huge afternoon at both ends of the table.
