Leicester City vs Fulham LIVE: Premier League result, final score and reaction
Leicester 0-1 Fulham: Aleksandar Mitrovic scores again as in-form Cottagers notch huge win
Aleksandar Mitrovic boosted Fulham’s European charge as the Cottagers downed Leicester City with a narrow win.
The striker fired Marco Silva’s side to a third-straight win after a 1-0 Premier League victory at the King Power Stadium. It left Fulham seventh in the Premier League on 28 points - the same amount they were relegated with in 2021 - and level with Liverpool.
The Cottagers are in dreamland, in contrast to the Foxes with boss Brendan Rodgers’ consistent reality checks still ringing true after a third-straight defeat.
Rodgers has always been insistent this season would be one of struggle and his side have reverted to their early form which saw his own position called into question. Youri Tielemans rattled the crossbar during an improved second half but it was Fulham’s fast start which ultimately sealed the points.

Leicester City vs Fulham
Leicester's third loss on the spin since the restart leaves them 13th in the table, lucky to not have been overtaken by any of the sides below them, although three of the sides within a win of the Foxes have at least one game in hand. For Fulham, their first season back in the top-flight goes from strength to strength, as they consolidate their place in seventh, above sides such as Brighton, who also won their corresponding match, and West London rivals Chelsea, who sit 10th, three points behind the in-form Cottagers.
Leicester City vs Fulham
Youri Tielemans was absolutely everywhere for Leicester in that second half, firing off five shots but finding the target with none of them! He made a whopping 18 entries into the final third, completing 32 passes in this area, and the Belgian won eight of his 11 duels, including with two dribbles. He also won possession a game-high 12 times, thrice in the final third, via two aerial duels and interceptions apiece, winning three free-kicks. Leader.
Leicester City vs Fulham
It's all over, and Fulham hang on by the skin of their teeth to seal a third consecutive Premier League victory! It's just as many defeats in a row for Leicester, who threw absolutely everything at the Cottagers in that second half, but couldn't find a way past Bernd Leno! Barnes, Vardy, Perez and Tielemans all tested the visitors' goalkeeper, but Leno and his defence kept them at bay in a half which saw eight yellow cards, five of which were shown to Fulham players. The Cottagers did create the odd chance of their own, but it was a 45 minutes which belonged to Leicester in every area but the scoreline, and that slender 1-0 victory means Fulham continue their perfect run of post-World Cup form.
