Liverpool were winners back in 2020 ending a 30-year wait for league glory and Jurgen Klopp is sure to have them back challenging again at the sharp end this season too while Manchester United will be looking to be back in the title picture with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to his former club in the summer.
It's not all about the action at the top though with Norwich, Watford and Brentford promoted to the top tier for 2020/21 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

That goalless draw, Villa's first of the season, brings an end to their four-match losing streak, whilst also ending Leicester's three-match winning run at home. Neither side moves in the table though, with Leicester still 10th on 42 points, and Villa five points and five places behind them in 15th.

Young was excellent down the left for Villa, recording both a shot on target and a key pass, as well as four crosses. The back-and-forth nature of the game also saw him win the ball a team-high eight times, but also lose it 18 times. He also recorded two tackles, interceptions and clearances respectively, helping his side out at both ends of the pitch.

The full-time whistle goes, bringing an end to a low-quality game that neither side seemed capable of winning! Both had chances aplenty in the second half, but the final pass or shot was always lacking in conviction, meaning that despite being entertaining at times, the crowd were denied the chance to celebrate a goal at either end.

Leicester come forward for one last attack and it's only half-cleared by Villa. It falls for Maddison, but Barnes steps in to shoot and drags it well wide, with Martinez gathering the ball.
